Job summary

Accenture seeks a Cybersecurity Forward Deployed Engineer in California to embed with a client’s security and engineering teams, delivering production-safe AI deployments and measurable security posture improvements.

You will lead AI security architecture, threat modeling, and governance, using Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot to drive end-to-end security across IAM, data pipelines, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years engineering experience in production environments with cybersecurity depth.
• 1 year hands-on design/deployment of agentic AI solutions in production.
• 6+ years end-to-end security delivery ownership in client-embedded or production settings.
• 6+ years cloud platform security fundamentals (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (12 years).

Responsibilities

• Lead AI security architecture and threat modeling for production deployments across complex client environments.
• Deliver hands-on security engineering using agentic coding tools as the primary build environment.
• Own AI-specific threat surface management across program scale and OWASP LLM Top 10 controls.
• Architect and govern AI security controls across identity, data pipelines, and cloud platforms.
• Lead AI governance framework implementation (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF).
• Shape reinvention security strategy for client executives and develop investment roadmaps.
• Publish reusable security patterns and accelerators for multiple client engagements.
• Lead architecture design sessions and threat modeling workshops with client teams.
