Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking an AI Security Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-driven security solutions across enterprise applications. The role blends software engineering with application security, DevSecOps, and LLM technologies to automate assessments and reduce risk.

You will build AI-enabled security pipelines, integrate with code repos and vulnerability tools, and lead security risk assessments in collaboration with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in information technology or related field with a minimum of 8 years of experience in security and systems administration, access management, and network security technologies.
• Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and with security tools across the software development lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, CWE, SAST/DAST, SCA, and API security; ability to implement AI-assisted security solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain AI-enabled security solutions and automated vulnerability assessment capabilities.
• Build security assessment pipelines combining traditional scanners with AI-assisted source code analysis.
• Lead DevSecOps design and implement secure CI/CD pipelines and guardrails for AI-generated code.
• Develop integrations with repositories, security tools, vulnerability management platforms, and AI platforms.
• Establish security metrics and risk-reduction reporting; collaborate across security, engineering, AI, and platform teams.
