Job summary

Elevance Health, Inc. is seeking an AI Security Software Engineer to design and implement AI-driven security solutions across enterprise applications.

The role combines software engineering, application security, DevSecOps, and large language model technologies to automate assessments and strengthen security postures. You will lead security risk assessments, build AI-enabled pipelines, and collaborate with multiple teams to deliver scalable, secure software.

Qualifications

• Requires BS/BA in information technology or related field and substantial experience in security aspects of information systems.
• Experience with multiple technical and business disciplines is expected or an equivalent background.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain AI-enabled security solutions and automated vulnerability assessment capabilities.
• Build and integrate security assessment pipelines combining traditional tools with AI-assisted analysis.
• Develop integrations with source code repos, security tools, and enterprise workflows.
• Lead DevSecOps implementation embedding security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Define technical requirements, architecture, and reusable integration frameworks for AI models and tools.
• Establish guardrails for AI-generated code and AI-enabled applications to mitigate risks.
• Lead risk assessments, remediation strategies, and security metrics reporting.
• Collaborate with security, engineering, and AI teams to deliver scalable solutions.
