Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking an AI Security Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions that enhance cybersecurity workflows across Micron's security organization. You will partner with the CDR sub-towers to build AI agents, automations, and workflows, while contributing to the broader AI Security engineering community through reusable solutions and best practices.

The role emphasizes threat modeling, secure development, and collaboration with SOC, GRC, and other security teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with AI/ML technologies including LLMs, AI agents, RAG, or automation frameworks.
• Understanding of authentication, data management, error handling, and secure coding practices.
• Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders in an agile or project-based environment.
• Ability to participate in technical design reviews in a peer-review culture.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI agents, automations, and workflows for CDR security initiatives.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity partners to align roadmaps with business objectives.
• Participate in architecture reviews and peer reviews to ensure secure, scalable solutions.
• Create reusable frameworks and patterns for the AI Security engineering community.
• Apply threat modeling and secure software development lifecycle practices across the AI solution lifecycle.
