Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking an AI Security Program Lead to serve as the senior technical authority for AI security within Cyber Defense & Resilience.

You will define AI security strategy, govern threat modeling, and lead AI-related incident response across a global environment supporting 50,000+ employees and 100,000+ devices. You will partner with Security Operations, Governance Risk & Compliance, Third-Party Risk, and Security Architecture to translate research into actionable security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, CS, or related field.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in AI/ML security.
• Hands-on with AI systems, agentic architectures, LLMs, and RAG.
• Deep knowledge of AI/ML security principles and defenses.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to executives and influence decisions.
• Experience leading security programs and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Define AI security strategy, threat model, and roadmap for CDR.
• Set quarterly AI security priorities and coordinate across teams.
• Define risk criteria and review high-risk AI architectures.
• Lead AI security incident response with enterprise IR teams.
• Create and improve AI incident response playbooks.
• Present AI security posture to executives and governance bodies.
• Monitor AI threats and translate research into controls.
