Job summary

Micron Technology seeks an AI Security Program Lead to be the senior technical authority for AI security within Cyber Defense & Resilience. You will define AI security strategy, governance, threat modeling, and incident response, and advise executives on secure AI use.

Lead cross‑functional collaboration with Security Operations, GRC, Third‑Party Risk, Security Awareness, and Security Architecture to strengthen AI security across a global environment of 50,000+ employees and 100,000+ devices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field (or demonstrated equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience including 3+ years in AI/ML security.
• Hands-on experience with AI systems, agentic architectures, LLMs, RAG frameworks, tool integrations, and AI-enabled workflows.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML security principles, architectures, deployment models, threat vectors, and defensive controls.
• Experience developing security strategies, threat models, risk assessments, and governance frameworks for emerging tech.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to executives and influence decisions.
• Experience leading security programs, incident response, or risk management in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own AI security strategy, threat model, and roadmap for Cyber Defense & Resilience.
• Establish quarterly priorities for AI security initiatives across multiple security functions.
• Define risk classification criteria and review high‑risk AI architectures with data access and external integrations.
• Lead AI-related cybersecurity incidents, coordinating with enterprise incident response teams.
• Create and improve AI incident response playbooks based on evolving threats.
• Represent AI security posture to executive leadership and governance bodies.
• Monitor emerging AI threats and translate research into actionable security controls.
