Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking an AI & Security Systems Engineer to drive enterprise physical security solutions across a global footprint. You will design, integrate, and operate systems such as access control, video management, AI analytics, and security data interfaces to enhance security operations.

You will lead PoCs, architect scalable security platforms, and collaborate with IT, facilities, and manufacturing to meet operating needs, employing AI and ML capabilities and secure-by-design

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software and systems engineering leading enterprise-scale distributed systems and production services.
• Hands-on development in Python and modern languages (Go, C#/.NET, Java, or TypeScript) with CI/CD practices.
• Experience designing, building, and operating scalable APIs, microservices, data pipelines, and cloud-native apps.
• Extensive AI/ML experience including LLMs, generative AI, RAG, MLOps, and lifecycle management.
• Expertise in cloud platforms, Kubernetes, IaC, IAM/security guidelines, and partnering with leadership on secure solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical engineer for enterprise physical security technology platforms (ACS, VMS, CCTV, intrusion).
• Design integrations between security platforms and enterprise systems (identity, HR, incident management).
• Develop cloud-connected and hybrid security architectures for resilience and scalability.
• Evaluate video analytics, edge AI, and intelligent sensor platforms for threat detection.
• Lead assessments, PoCs, and vendor evaluations for next-gen security tech.
• Establish engineering standards, lifecycle processes, and roadmaps for global security systems.
• Collaborate with site security, facilities, IT, and manufacturing to meet requirements.
• Build intelligent security ecosystems by integrating video, access, intrusion, sensors, and AI analytics.
