Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking an AI Security Program Lead to serve as the principal technical authority for AI security within Cyber Defense & Resilience.

This role defines AI security strategy, drives threat modeling and governance, leads AI-related incident response, and advises executive leadership on secure use of AI technologies. Responsibilities include establishing AI security roadmaps, coordinating with security functions, and maintaining playbooks to adapt to evolving threat

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with at least 3+ years in AI/ML security.
• Hands-on experience with AI systems, agentic architectures, LLMs, RAG, tool integrations, and AI-enabled workflows.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML security principles, architectures, threats, and defenses.
• Experience developing security strategies, threat models, risk assessments, and governance for emerging tech.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to executives and influence decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the AI security strategy, threat model, and roadmap for Cyber Defense & Resilience.
• Set quarterly priorities for AI security initiatives and provide strategic direction across multiple security functions.
• Define risk classification criteria and review high-risk AI architectures.
• Lead AI-related cybersecurity incident coordination with IR teams.
• Create and improve AI incident response playbooks based on evolving threats.
• Represent AI security posture to executive leadership across functions.
