Zillow Group is seeking a Principal Product Manager to shape strategy and execution of AI-native software development platforms. You will partner with engineering leaders to define the developer platforms and tooling that measurably improve how Zillow builds software, serving as the go-to expert on developer experience for senior leadership.

This is a platform-as-a-product role focused on outcomes over features.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in product management for technology products, including substantial experience building internal platforms.
• Experience owning a platform portfolio and prioritizing across interdependent capabilities with different customers and lifecycles.
• Hands-on perspective on AI-native development, developer tooling, and scalable SDLC processes.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve a cohesive product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for your AI SDLC area.
• Treat the platform as a product and establish golden paths, paved-road templates, and self-service capabilities.
• Embed AI-native developer tooling and agents across the workflow from authoring to release.
• Drive adoption and migration outcomes across teams with no direct reporting relationship.
• Set and own targets for metrics reflecting day-to-day impact and prioritize investments.
• Represent the platform strategy with senior leaders and stakeholders, surfacing risks and trade-offs.
