Job summary

Broadcom is seeking a Distinguished Engineer in Palo Alto, CA to architect high-performance, cloud-scale load balancing and security solutions for AI workloads. You will lead design and implementation of microservices-based platforms, optimize data pipelines, and mentor engineers across global teams.

The role demands deep distributed-systems expertise, Go and Python proficiency, and strong data persistence and API design knowledge, with on-site collaboration for scalable AI environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building complex highly distributed systems.
• Proven experience leading the end-to-end lifecycle of a product, from design to production deployment and maintenance.
• BS/MS/PhD in Engineering Computer Science or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build high-performance, cloud-scale load balancing and security solutions for AI workloads.
• Lead design and implementation of microservices-based architectures across AI workloads.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct deep-dive code reviews to promote best practices.
