Job summary

Broadcom Inc. in Palo Alto, CA, seeks a Distinguished Engineer to architect high-performance, cloud-scale load balancing and security solutions for AI workloads. You will lead design and implementation of microservices-based architectures, ensuring resilience and scale across massive data flows.

You will mentor engineers, drive end-to-end product lifecycles, and collaborate on data pipelines using OpenSearch, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Neo4j to provide timely insights.

Qualifications

• Education: BS/MS/PhD in Engineering, CS, or related field.
• 20+ years for Bachelors, 18+ for Masters, 15+ for PhD in relevant experience.
• Proven experience building complex distributed systems.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end product lifecycles from design to production.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build high-performance, cloud-scale load balancing and security solutions for AI workloads.
• Lead design and implementation of microservices-based architectures for resilient systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct deep-dive code reviews to drive best practices.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver scalable data pipelines and back-end processes.
