Harbor, an insurer for AI-driven decision platforms, seeks an experienced underwriter to assess and price complex agent risk for regulated customers in the US. You will shape appetite, terms and coverage, working with carriers, reinsurers and engineering to align data, risk signals and pricing.

You will operate at the intersection of insurance and technology, leveraging rich data from our platform to refine risk models and ensure sound pricing.

Qualifications

• Experience underwriting complex commercial risk (cyber, technology E&O, professional liability or financial lines).
• Comfort with data and quantitative work; ability to handle limited loss history.
• Curiosity about how AI systems work and fail; willingness to learn technical aspects.

Responsabilités

• Underwrite agent risk for regulated customers from technical review to pricing and terms.
• Build underwriting framework mapping risk scores to appetite, limits, retentions and price.
• Collaborate with carrier and reinsurance partners on wordings, programs and capacity.
• Partner with Engineering to shape platform measurements and insured scope.
• Incorporate learnings from claims, incidents and near misses into the framework.
