Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an AI and Emerging Technologies Risk Manager to coordinate AI use case intake, governance, and oversight. You will guide business partners, coordinate risk and control partners, and support governance across the asset lifecycle for AI initiatives.

The role partners with WCIB and SLOD teams to identify, assess, document, monitor, and escalate AI risks, while retaining accountability for execution, evidence, and remediation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Typically more than 10 years of applicable experience.
• Strong knowledge of AI risk, governance, and controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary accountable risk leader for WCIB AI use cases, pilots, and proofs of concept.
• Provide oversight of the AI use case portfolio and ensure thorough documentation across the lifecycle.
• Translate policy requirements into actionable business guidance and ensure governance compliance.
• Lead issue management, remediation, and escalation of AI risks with senior stakeholders.
