Job summary

Michigan State University seeks a Heard AI Project Coordinator to support planning and implementation of a multidisciplinary NSF-funded AI/ASR research endeavor. You will coordinate communications, manage timelines, and liaise with the PI, co-PIs, stakeholders, and the funding agency to ensure project objectives and deliverables are met.

The role requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, experience with project planning, budgeting, and managing research activities, including IRB

Qualifications

• Knowledge equivalent to a four year college degree in Public Relations, Communications, Business or related field.
• Experience with word processing, databases, spreadsheets, desktop publishing and/or presentation software.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate interactions and communication among internal and external personnel; clarify expectations and ensure deliverables are assigned, reviewed, and completed.
• Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Serve as a liaison to administrators, staff and third party/vendors for project coordination and implementation.
• Develop detailed project plans with timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budgeting.
• Implement process management techniques to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
• Track milestones and tasks to report to management and the funding agency.
• Develop communication strategies and campaigns; prepare and edit materials; oversee communications plans and evaluations.
• Manage participant recruitment and serve as point of contact for participants; support reimbursement processes and forms.
• Manage and train transcription team; evaluate transcriptions for reliability.
• Other duties as assigned.
