Job summary

Align is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead large-scale data center cabling deployments across the U.S. You will plan, coordinate, document, and deliver projects on time and within budget, working with clients, field teams, and vendors.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in data center or related infrastructure, strong scheduling and communication skills, and proficiency with Excel and PM tools. Travel up to 50% is required; relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience supporting data centers or IT infrastructure deployments.
• Experience coordinating multiple teams, vendors and locations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and client-facing skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and PM planning/reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage data center cabling and infrastructure projects from planning through closeout.
• Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, milestones, risk logs, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with clients, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Track project progress, identify risks, and resolve schedule or deployment issues.
• Manage RFIs, change orders, submittals, status reports, and closeout documentation.
• Track materials, equipment readiness, labor, project costs, and change orders.
• Lead client and internal project meetings and provide clear status updates.
• Partner with Superintendents and Foremen to ensure field work meets project requirements.
• Support QA/QC, testing, commissioning, turnover, and project closeout.
