Job summary

Align is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead large-scale data center cabling infrastructure deployments across the U.S. You will plan, coordinate, document, and deliver projects on time and within budget, collaborating with clients, field teams, vendors, and subs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in data center or IT infra project management, strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency with Excel and PM tools, and a track record of managing multiple teams and schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in data centers or related IT infrastructure deployments.
• Experience managing multiple teams, vendors, locations, or concurrent projects.
• Experience planning schedules, budgets, risks, documentation, and client expectations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer-facing skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and PM scheduling or reporting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage data center cabling and infrastructure projects from planning through closeout.
• Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, milestones, risk logs, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with clients, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Track project progress, identify risks, and resolve deployment issues.
• Manage RFIs, change orders, submittals, status reports, and closeout documentation.
• Track materials, equipment readiness, labor, project costs, and change orders.
• Lead client and internal project meetings and provide clear status updates.
• Partner with Superintendents and Foremen to ensure field work meets project requirements.
• Support QA/QC, testing, commissioning, turnover, and project closeout.
