Job summary

Align is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead large-scale data center cabling infrastructure deployments across the U.S. You will plan, coordinate, document, and manage project delivery, working with clients, vendors, and field teams to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years managing IT infrastructure deployments, strong Excel and PMO skills, and the ability to travel roughly half the time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience supporting data centers, structured cabling, or large-scale IT infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing schedules, budgets, risks, and client expectations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage data center cabling and infrastructure projects from planning through closeout.
• Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, milestones, risk logs, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with clients, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Track project progress, identify risks, and resolve schedule or deployment issues.
• Manage RFIs, change orders, submittals, status reports, and closeout documentation.
• Track materials, equipment readiness, labor, project costs, and change orders.
• Lead client and internal project meetings and provide clear status updates.
• Partner with Superintendents and Foremen to ensure field work meets requirements.
