Job summary

Align is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead large-scale data center cabling and infrastructure deployments across the U.S. The role focuses on planning, coordination, documentation, reporting, and delivery while collaborating with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Travel up to 50% and relocation support may be available. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in data center infrastructure projects and strong Excel skills, with experience managing budgets, schedules, and client

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in data centers, cabling, low-voltage, or large-scale IT deployments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple teams, vendors, and concurrent projects.
• Experience planning schedules, budgets, risk logs, and client expectations.
• Strong organizational and customer-facing communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and project management, scheduling, or reporting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage data center cabling and infrastructure projects from planning through closeout.
• Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, milestones, risk logs, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with clients, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Track project progress, identify risks, and resolve schedule or deployment issues.
• Manage RFIs, change orders, submittals, status reports, and closeout documentation.
• Track materials, equipment readiness, labor, project costs, and change orders.
• Lead client and internal project meetings and provide clear status updates.
• Partner with Superintendents and Foremen to ensure field work meets project requirements.
• Support QA/QC, testing, commissioning, turnover, and project closeout.
