Job summary

Toloka AI is seeking a dynamic Program Director to own and scale the execution of complex AI data projects for a major client portfolio. The role centers on operational excellence and flawless delivery, partnering with business development to drive revenue through outstanding client outcomes.

You will lead end-to-end delivery for a substantial portfolio of AI initiatives, ensuring quality, timelines, and margin targets while collaborating with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams to

Qualifications

• Ten plus years in technology consulting and delivery at a Big 3 or top-tier firm.
• Five plus years of program or portfolio management with multi‑million dollar budgets.
• Proven track record delivering AI, data, or analytics programs into production.
• Hands-on technical background in Data Science or Software Engineering with code literacy.
• Strong ability to influence and communicate with C‑level stakeholders.
• Proactive in suggesting process improvements and understanding the LLM life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Take ultimate ownership for AI program strategy, roadmaps, and success metrics.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple complex AI initiatives to meet scope, budget, and quality.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into technical workstreams and architectures.
• Establish and own program governance, operating rhythms, and executive communications.
• Drive solution design reviews and provide technical oversight for robustness and security.
• Embed responsible and ethical AI practices into program design and data governance.
• Manage vendor and partner relationships, including evaluations and contracts.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to foster high-performance delivery.
