Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking an AI-focused Product Owner to partner with Product Managers and cross-functional teams. You will translate AI/ML capabilities into backlog items, define acceptance criteria, and ensure timely delivery of high-impact features across claims, insurance, and healthcare domains.

You will lead with strong documentation, agile practices, and stakeholder collaboration to align outcomes with business goals.

Qualifications

Five years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Experience in claims, insurance, healthcare, or other regulated operational environments preferred.
Experience working within agile or hybrid delivery teams preferred.
Experience supporting AI, machine learning, or data-driven product initiatives preferred.
Strong product and requirements documentation skills.
Ability to translate business needs into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

Partners with Product Managers on backlog refinement and prioritization, including sequencing work based on value and capacity.
Defines development-ready stories and requirements by breaking down epics and features into user stories and acceptance criteria.
Executes delegated Product Manager responsibilities when PM capacity is limited.
Collaborates with development teams to ensure stories are understood and aligned with business outcomes.
Validates solutions with User Acceptance Testing to confirm functionality meets requirements.
Monitors delivery metrics and surfaces risks, dependencies, and performance insights.
Works with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and MLOps to translate AI capabilities into backlog items.
