Job summary

K1x is hiring a Product Manager for the AI group to own the extraction platform across its filing-grade data products. You will guide the AI roadmap, prioritize new document types, and translate model performance into user-facing metrics, partnering with the Head of AI and other PMs to land capabilities across product lines.

The role emphasizes capacity planning, release management, and clear decision records for build/buy/replace choices, with a focus on accuracy and customer impact.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of product management on shipped B2B software.
• At least 2 years owning an AI/ML powered product surface.
• Understand how ML products fail differently from software.
• Experience making build/buy/replace decisions on model components.
• Strong written and verbal communication for decision docs.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI roadmap and 6–12 month extraction coverage plan.
• Prioritize new document types and fields with a defensible framework.
• Define how accuracy is measured and reported to audiences.
• Specify requirements for model and vendor decisions.
• Plan around tax calendar peaks and release schedules.
• Collaborate with engineers and UX to improve feedback signals.
