Job summary

K1x, Inc. is seeking a product manager to own the AI-powered extraction surface across our tax-document platform, collaborating with the AI team and other PMs.

You will shape the six-to-twelve month roadmap, prioritize new document types, measure accuracy, and decide build/buy/vendor choices to deliver reliable results.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of product management on shipped B2B software, ideally fintech or regtech.
• At least 2 years owning an AI/ML-powered product surface: document AI or extraction.
• Ability to write clear decisions that engineers can act on.
• Experience with build, buy, or replace decisions on model or vendor components.
• Clear communication and meeting facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Define the AI roadmap for extraction coverage and platform sizing.
• Manage intake and prioritization of new document types and fields.
• Define accuracy metrics and translate to user experience.
• Decide on model vs vendor services and document the rationale.
• Plan around tax calendar peaks and release schedules.
• Oversee the correction loop with UX to improve signals.
