Job summary

Diamondback Energy, Inc. in Midland, Texas seeks an AI Manager - Product Management to lead and develop AI Product Owners. You will drive disciplined discovery, validate opportunities, and translate business problems into actionable product roadmaps and requirements.

You will partner with executives to ensure adoption, establish governance, and scale AI product management standards across the organization, delivering measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, MIS, or related field.
• 10+ years of product management/leadership within a tech-intensive enterprise.
• 5+ years of people management with a proven ability to develop high-performing teams.
• Experience leading an enterprise product portfolio with multiple products or initiatives.
• Experience developing product strategies, roadmaps, business cases, and prioritization frameworks.
• Ability to balance strategic direction, delivery execution, stakeholder needs, and governance requirements.
• Experience establishing and managing KPIs to measure product and portfolio outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop AI Product Owners and product professionals.
• Set clear expectations for product judgment, discovery rigor, product definition, stakeholder engagement, outcome accountability, and standards across the team.
• Translate prioritized enterprise opportunities into product strategies, roadmaps, requirements, and prioritized delivery plans.
• Ensure every AI product has a defined business problem, target users, success metrics, requirements, acceptance criteria, value hypothesis, and sponsor.
• Establish and scale AI-native validation practices across the product lifecycle from discovery to validation and post-launch adoption.
• Identify and manage product-level dependencies, delivery risks, and barriers to value realization across teams.
• Drive adoption by partnering with change management, training, and enablement teams; track value realization.
