Job summary

Diamondback Energy in Texas is seeking an AI Manager – Product Management to lead the AI product portfolio, translate priorities into clearly defined AI products, and coach AI Product Owners.

You will drive discovery and validation, partner with executives to set roadmaps and KPIs, ensure business problems and success measures are defined, and enable adoption across Diamondback’s AI initiatives. This role builds governance and disciplined practices to maximize value realization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, MIS, or related field.
• 10+ years in product management or digital delivery in technology-intensive environments.
• 5+ years of people management leading high-performing teams.
• Experience leading an enterprise product portfolio with multiple concurrent products or initiatives.
• Experience developing product strategies, roadmaps, and prioritization frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop AI Product Owners and product professionals; set expectations for product judgment, discovery rigor, product definition, stakeholder engagement, and outcome accountability.
• Partner with business leaders and AI leadership to translate prioritized enterprise opportunities into product strategies, roadmaps, requirements, and delivery plans.
• Ensure every AI product has a clearly defined business problem, target users and workflows, success measures, requirements, acceptance criteria, value hypothesis, and sponsor before significant investment.
• Establish and scale AI-native validation practices across the product lifecycle from discovery to user acceptance testing.
• Identify and manage product dependencies, delivery risks, and barriers to value realization; drive adoption and measure outcomes.
