Job summary

Diamondback Energy is seeking an AI Manager - Product Management to lead the AI product management function, translating business priorities into clearly defined AI products with measurable outcomes. You will mentor AI Product Owners, establish discovery rigor, and align product strategy with business sponsorship and value realization.

The role partners with business leaders to drive disciplined discovery and rapid validation, ensuring strong governance, adoption, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, MIS, or a related field.
• 10+ years of product management or leadership experience in a tech enterprise.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Experience leading an enterprise product portfolio with multiple initiatives.
• Experience creating product strategies, roadmaps, and prioritization frameworks.
• Ability to balance strategic direction with delivery and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop AI Product Owners and product professionals, setting expectations for product judgment and discovery.
• Translate enterprise opportunities into product strategies, roadmaps, requirements, and delivery plans.
• Ensure each AI product has a defined business problem, target users, success metrics, and value hypothesis.
• Scale AI validation practices across the product lifecycle from discovery to business validation and user acceptance.
• Identify and manage product dependencies, risks, and barriers to value realization.
• Drive adoption through change management, training, and enablement teams; monitor product performance post-launch.
• Communicate portfolio performance, risks, and value realization to senior leadership.
• Build and standardize Diamondback's AI product management practices and capability.
