Job summary

Granicus seeks a senior product-engineering leader to own a delivery team's product outcome and directly implement frontend experiences in production. You will govern AI agents across interactive, supervised, and autonomous modes while enforcing WCAG and compliance.

You will shape the operating model and drive collaboration across product, design, and engineering. The role demands autonomy, disciplined design, and a track record of defining and scaling processes that other teams adopt.

Qualifications

• End-to-end product delivery ownership across a delivery team.
• Production front-end engineering with real production code.
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Design discipline including information architecture and accessibility.
• Direction of AI coding agents in production environments.
• Ability to define and scale operating models.

Responsibilities

• Own the team’s product outcome end-to-end from problem definition to in-production software.
• Direct the agent array across Interactive, Supervised, and Fully Autonomous modes.
• Implement production front-end code within the same repository as the engineering team.
• Apply product and design rigor at discovery, research, IA, interaction design, and prioritization.
• Author prompts, evaluation criteria, and acceptance criteria for agents and verifiers.
• Enforce the human review gate and accessibility standards (WCAG) in collaboration with the lead engineer.
• Set and maintain the team’s delivery cadence and contribute to the operating model.
