The role seeks an engineer with founder-like ownership, who can move from user conversations to prototypes and secure services while maintaining accessibility and maintainability. A hybrid office arrangement is expected.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of relevant and applicable experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study.
• End-to-end delivery: taking software from concept through launch, learning, and adoption.
• Technical breadth across modern frontend, backend, API, data, and cloud technologies.
• Applied AI experience with large language models, retrieval, tools, or similar patterns.
• Evaluation experience with automated testing and behavioral evaluation for probabilistic systems.
• Live-service ownership including telemetry, debugging, reliability, incident response, and performance improvement.
• User-centered practice working with users, designers, and product leaders to turn evidence into product decisions.
• Engineering craft with clear specifications, maintainable code, and sound technical trade-offs.
• Role requires up to 50% travel and hybrid office attendance.

Aufgaben

• Start with the user: work with users to understand workflows and identify AI value.
• Test assumptions quickly with concise specs, prototypes, and small releases.
• Own complete product slices across experience, services, data, AI behavior, and integrations.
• Shape AI behavior: design instructions, context, retrieval, outputs, and tool use.
• Build the evidence system with tasks and automated evaluations to show usefulness and safety.
• Instrument user journeys to relate adoption and task success to system behavior and cost.
• Engineer for responsible use with clear permissions, data handling, and safe rollbacks.
• Own production quality: release incrementally and monitor live behavior.
