Job summary

Brain Co. in New York is seeking an AI Product Engineer to design, develop, and deploy software that automates real-world problems for governments and industries.

You will work with customers to define specs and build from zero, from elegant front-end interfaces to scalable back-end systems. You will collaborate with ex-founders, government officials, AI researchers, and engineers, wearing many hats across software development, product management, and sales.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience with front-end and back-end technologies.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable software systems.
• Proficiency with React, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, and databases.
• Strong foundation in CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Comfort working directly with customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-infused software solutions for real-world problems.
• Collaborate with customers to define product specs and build from zero.
• Create robust front-end interfaces and scalable back-end architectures.
• Build data pipelines and maintain production systems for reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
