Job summary

Jerry.ai is seeking a hands-on AI/Automation leader to design and own the next generation of automated insurance shopping experiences. You will shape chatbot architecture, build new automations, and guide the evaluation and deployment of cutting-edge AI models with production-ready reliability and cost controls.

The role requires deep experience with end-to-end AI systems, production ML deployments, and strong collaboration with OpenAI and other model providers.

Qualifications

• Experience building production-grade AI systems with end-to-end ownership.
• Proven track record deploying LLM-based workflows with evals, latency, and cost controls.
• Hands-on with prompt engineering and architecture decisions beyond demos.
• Ability to collaborate with vendors like OpenAI to deploy next-gen models.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical bar for chatbot systems and guide the architecture as it scales.
• Build automations for document validation, voice-based interactions, and multi-step workflows.
• Evaluate emerging AI tech and decide investments, then ship to production.
• Partner with OpenAI to deploy next-gen voice models and automation workflows.
