Job summary

Jerry.ai is seeking a senior software engineer to lead the next generation of AI-powered automation. You will own chatbot architecture, build end-to-end automations, and evaluate new AI tech for production use.

Collaboration with OpenAI and external systems will be key to delivering scalable, reliable insurance quoting and support flows. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in software engineering, hands-on experience with AI models, and a track record of deploying AI in production.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years in software engineering, preferably in early-stage startups.
Hands-on depth with AI/LLM systems and production deployments.
Proven ability to own outcomes end-to-end and communicate trade-offs.
Experience integrating AI models with external systems and APIs.

Responsibilities

Set the technical bar for chatbot systems and architect scalable AI flows.
Build automations across record disputes, communications, and validation workflows.
Evaluate new AI tech and decide investments for production use.
Partner with OpenAI to deploy advanced voice models and automations.
