Job summary

Shermco Industries is hiring an AI Product Engineer to design, build, deploy, and support AI-enabled applications for field technicians, estimators, project managers, and office teams. You will own solutions end-to-end, from front-end to AI agents, ensuring reliable, secure, and production-grade software.

You will work on a hybrid model from the Dallas/Las Colinas area, collaborating with Data & AI governance, IT Security, and multiple product teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production full stack experience.
• 1+ year building LLM-powered features or agents.
• Proficiency in React with TypeScript.
• Strong back-end skills in C#/.NET, Python, or Node.js.
• Experience building AI evaluations or automated tests.
• Relational databases and SQL experience.
• Azure or other cloud deployment experience.
• Authentication/authorization, Microsoft Entra ID preferred.
• Ability to translate needs for non-technical users.
• Ability to work independently in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Design and build web and mobile-friendly applications for internal Shermco users.
• Build AI features and agents with tool calling and structured outputs.
• Integrate applications with Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI services, Salesforce, on-prem solutions.
• Own applications and agents across their life cycle with security and monitoring.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated tests for development, testing, and production.
• Collaborate with IT security and governance to meet data access and compliance.
