Job summary

Shermco Industries is seeking a Sr Business Analyst to join the Data & AI team in a hybrid Dallas role. You will translate business needs into actionable data initiatives, define requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver value quickly.

You’ll coordinate with data engineers and BI developers, craft user stories, validate data sources, and champion iterative delivery using Agile practices to drive insights, automation, and smarter decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
3+ years in a business/technical analyst, or project management role.
Experience supporting cross-functional teams and lifecycle of business or data projects.
Exposure to reporting and analytics environments; experience with data teams or BI developers.
Certifications in BA/PM or Agile are a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead discovery conversations to clarify goals, outcomes and value before delivery.
Translate high-level asks into structured user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
Bridge strategy and execution between business leaders, product, data engineers and BI developers.
Guide intake to sprint delivery, track progress, and keep stakeholders informed.
Promote iterative value, MVPs, and continuous improvement in delivery.
