Job summary

Salesforce's AI Labs team seeks a Product Design Lead to shape design vision for AI-native products like Agentforce. You will lead cross‑functional programs, frame problems, prototype in code, and define interaction patterns for generative UIs with trust and explainability at the center.

You'll mentor designers, collaborate with engineering, and contribute to design systems, ensuring a coherent experience across Salesforce's platform.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product design experience, shipping high craft products at scale.
• Experience leading design programs across multiple teams with autonomy.
• Proven ability to align cross-functional and senior leaders on priorities.
• Hands-on prototyping in code with examples accelerating decisions.
• Experience designing AI/ML-powered or data-intensive products and Gen AI UX.
• Portfolio showing systems thinking, interaction design, and visual craft.
• Experience mentoring designers and elevating team quality through critique.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale cross-functional design programs across AI Labs product areas from concept through launch.
• Frame ambiguous problem spaces, define the right problem to solve, and align leaders on priorities.
• Influence product directions, roadmaps, and prototypes tested with users.
• Prototype in code (HTML/CSS/JS, React, or AI-assisted tools) to test ideas.
• Define patterns for generative UI and human-in-the-loop workflows with trust and explainability.
• Create system-level artifacts showing how users, agents, data, and products connect.
• Mentor fellow designers and contribute to design systems for AI experiences.
