Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an experienced Product Design Lead for AI Labs to shape the design vision for next-generation AI-powered products. You will collaborate with senior leaders across product management, research, and engineering to deliver clear, trustworthy experiences that customers love.

In a fast-moving, zero-to-one environment, you will frame problems, align partners on priorities, and move quickly from idea to prototype to shipped experience, mentoring designers and shaping design

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product design experience in complex, high-craft products at scale.
• Ability to lead design programs across multiple teams with autonomy.
• Experience prototyping in code to accelerate decisions and iterations.
• Experience designing AI/ML-powered or data-intensive products and addressing generative AI UX challenges.
• Experience partnering with engineers on technical implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale cross-functional design programs from concept through launch and iteration.
• Frame ambiguous problems and align leaders on top priorities and tradeoffs.
• Influence product direction, roadmaps, and design strategy.
• Prototype in code (HTML/CSS/JS, React) to test ideas and iterate with users.
• Define patterns for novel AI experiences with trust and explainability built in.
• Ensure coherence across AI Labs products and connect to Salesforce platform.
• Create experience maps and relationship models across journeys.
• Use research and data to ground design decisions and uncover opportunities.
• Mentor designers, lead critiques, and contribute to design systems.
