Job summary

Altruist is hiring a Business Development Representative to generate and qualify pipeline for Hazel, an AI engine for wealth management. You will own top-of-funnel execution, respond quickly to inbound interest, and run targeted outbound to ICP accounts, collaborating with AEs to convert leads into meetings and opportunities.

You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, using CRM and sales tools to maintain data integrity and improve conversions with feedback loops to product and marketing.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a BDR role or high-cadence customer-facing role.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• High ownership and pace; organized and able to handle ambiguity.
• Data-informed mindset with ability to diagnose drop-offs and adjust.

Responsibilities

• Generate pipeline via inbound follow-up and outbound prospecting.
• Qualify and route leads; conduct first-touch discovery with SCPs and AEs.
• Execute targeted outbound plays (email, phone, LinkedIn).
• Create a great buyer experience with timely follow-ups and clear next steps.
• Maintain clean CRM data and track activity for improvement.
• Test messaging and sequences; share learnings with the team.
• Learn the Wealth management AI landscape and translate value.
• Leverage AI to research accounts and personalize outreach at scale.
