Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks a Technical Program Leader to own the integrated plan for a modernization program addressing cyber risk, asset inventory, and AI-enabled assessment tooling. You’ll coordinate across technology, cybersecurity, risk, and architecture teams to drive milestones and remediation at scale.

The role requires 10+ years in technical program management within cybersecurity or IT, with strong governance and communication skills for executive audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent field.
• Relevant certifications (PMP, SAFe, CISSP, or equivalent).
• 10+ years in technical program management within cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, or application portfolio management.
• Proven experience managing complex, multi-workstream technology programs at enterprise scale.
• Strong background in risk and compliance, enterprise architecture, vulnerability management, or risk-based remediation prioritization.
• Working knowledge of NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, and emerging AI regulatory requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication for executives.

Responsibilities

• Create a complete and trusted inventory of technology assets across enterprise portfolios.
• Classify assets by business criticality, security exposure, compliance relevance, operational resilience, and modernization needs.
• Identify and prioritize high-value assets, externally facing capabilities, and assets with elevated risk or material service-level implications.
• Define an AI-enabled assessment and remediation process for proactive monitoring and faster decision-making.
• Establish governance across stakeholders in technology, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, risk, compliance, and finance.
• Assess technical solution options for asset inventory, classification, and AI-enabled tooling.
• Coordinate execution across cross-functional squads aligned to asset groups or risk themes.
• Manage milestones, dependencies, and risks; drive issue resolution and escalation.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture on modernization patterns and target-state guidance.
• Report program status, blockers, and decisions to the Program Director and Operating Forum.
• Own the integrated program plan spanning portfolio/data, cyber/risk, architecture, remediation and tooling workstreams.
• Triage vulnerabilities with Product teams and drive timely remediation.
• Design and implement an enterprise AI risk governance framework aligned to NIST AI RMF and ISO 42001.
• Facilitate daily standups and steering committee reporting; track dependencies and decisions across teams.
• Coordinate resourcing and capacity planning across the core program team.
