Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience designing, building, and operating highly scalable, mission-critical distributed systems and SaaS products (ideally AWS-hosted).
• Proven track record of leading complex technical initiatives and delivering robust software architecture from design to production.
• Strong enthusiasm for agentic development practices, LLM integration, and modern software paradigms.
• Balanced expertise: design high-level technical solutions on a whiteboard while remaining connected to code-level execution and system performance.
• Effective communication: articulate complex technical ideas clearly to technical peers and product leadership.

Responsabilités

• Leverage cutting edge AI tools to enhance development workflow, improve velocity, and pioneer new approaches.
• Lead developers, product managers, designers, and researchers to build scalable integration of key customer software partners.
• Architect, create and maintain an AI harness for rapid integration and maintenance of partners with Toast’s systems.
• Define and drive technical strategy for problems affecting international expansion.
• Mentor developers across multiple teams through code-pairing and reviews.
• Champion best practices for development, deployment and lifecycle management.
• Document solution design, write and review code, test and roll out solutions to production, actioning customer feedback.
• Collaborate with UX, Product, QA and partner engineering teams to build best-in-class solutions.
