Job summary

Shield Technology Partners seeks a Learning & Development Lead to own the learning function across the organization and its MSP portfolio. Reporting to the Director of People Experience, you will translate L&D strategy into programs and manage the full lifecycle from design to measurement with high autonomy in a fast-growing, multi‑company environment.

You will design and develop digital content, lead AI-enabled learning efforts, administer the LMS, onboard new hires, and drive program impact

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, education, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4–6+ years of experience in learning & development, instructional design, or corporate training.
• Proven ability to own and run an L&D function end-to-end with autonomy.
• Experience developing both technical and non-technical training.
• Proficiency administering an LMS, including implementation and reporting.
• Strong understanding of e-learning authoring tools.
• Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s taxonomy).
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills across live, virtual, and hybrid environments.
• Enthusiasm for AI tools to accelerate L&D work.

Responsibilities

• Translate the L&D vision and roadmap into executable programs, priorities, and timelines.
• Run the L&D operating system end-to-end from strategy through delivery.
• Own design and development of digital content, job aids, and knowledge-base resources.
• Build training for technical and non-technical audiences using modern e-learning tools.
• Source, vet, and deploy third-party content where it fits the need.
• Use AI tools to accelerate content creation and scale personalized learning; streamline enrollments and reporting.
• Facilitate live and virtual training across instructor-led, virtual, hybrid, 1:1, and self-paced formats.
• Own LMS administration end-to-end and compliance training rollout.
• Manage onboarding experience and enablement across entities.
• Measure learning impact and report program health to leadership.
• Collaborate with leaders and SMEs to align learning with business needs.
