Job summary

Iowa Select Farms seeks an IT Application Developer to design, build, test, and implement custom applications. You'll use AI coding assistants and ensure code quality, security, and data privacy while integrating with third-party systems and maintaining documentation.

Ideal candidates have a BA in MIS/CS/IT, 3+ years in related roles, and experience with SQL, SSRS, C#, .NET, MVC, HTML5, API integrations, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and Power BI. English and Spanish fluency is preferred.

Qualifications

• BA in MIS, CS, or IT; 3+ years in related roles
• Experience as SQL programmer/administrator, SSRS development, C#/.NET, MVC, HTML5, API integrations, and web app development
• Experience using AI coding assistants in software development and ability to explain/test produced code
• Experience with Azure SQL Managed Instance, Power BI, and Azure services is a plus
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and maintain custom applications.
• Use AI coding assistants in daily development, writing prompts and specs.
• Review and test AI-generated code for correctness, security, and privacy.
• Analyze business processes and data flows to enhance internal apps.
• Integrate applications with third-party systems and maintain source control.
