Job summary

Iowa Select Farms is seeking an IT Application Developer to design, build, test, and implement custom applications across the organization. You will work with AI coding assistants, review AI-generated code for security and privacy, and ensure proper documentation and testing practices.

The role involves analyzing business processes, automating routine tasks with AI, and integrating applications with third-party systems. Strong SQL/.NET skills and English/Spanish communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• BA in MIS, computer science, or IT with 3+ years of related experience.
• Experience as an SQL programmer and administrator, SSRS development, C#/.NET, MVC, HTML5, API integrations, and web app development.
• Experience with Azure SQL Managed Instance, Power BI, and Azure services is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and maintain custom applications.
• Use AI coding assistants in daily development, writing prompts and specs.
• Review and test AI-generated code for correctness, security, and privacy.
• Analyze business processes and data flow to improve internal applications.
• Identify routine tasks for AI automation and propose improvements.
• Integrate applications with third-party systems and ensure source control.
