Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Internal Communications Manager to advise executives, lead cross-division change communications, and scale the intranet across Hawthorne and Bay Area teams. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in communications, public relations, or related field.
• 5+ years in business/organizational communications.
• Experience building employee communications across units or locations.
• Experience using AI tools to draft, produce, personalize, or scale communications.

Responsibilities

• Advise senior executives on communications gaps and turn them into plans.
• Lead change communications for company-wide initiatives to keep employees informed and engaged.
• Build a connected culture across divisions, locations, and teams.
• Develop and lead internal leadership speaking programs (live, filmed, etc.).
• Set communications strategy and standards for tools and channels.
• Own and scale the company intranet with style guides and templates.
• Manage internal communications in crises.
• Shape key internal announcements and narratives.
• Use AI to scale communications and increase impact.
• Ensure consistency of internal and external messages.
• Define metrics for communications and adjust accordingly.
