Job summary

Bandwidth is seeking an innovative Internal Applications Engineer to design, develop, and deploy automation workflows and AI-powered internal tools. You will work across the stack, from workflow automation to data pipelines and user-facing apps, partnering with senior engineers to ship real solutions into production.

Responsibilities include building internal tooling with React and FastAPI, integrating systems with n8n/Windmill, and supporting Snowflake data pipelines while applying AI platforms

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• REST API integration experience across platforms and languages.
• Familiarity with workflow automation platforms (n8n, Windmill, UI Bakery).
• Experience with AI development tools (Claude Code, OpenAI or similar).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Pytest, Vitest) and test-driven development.
• Exposure to Docker or cloud platforms (AWS).

Responsibilities

• Analyze opportunities for automation using generative AI and workflow orchestration.
• Build internal tooling with React and FastAPI deployed on container-based infra.
• Integrate systems via HubSpot, ServiceNow, and others using n8n, Windmill, and Python scripts.
• Support data pipelines landing data into Snowflake for downstream use.
• Leverage AI platforms and LLM APIs to generate insights and automate responses.
• Test, iterate, and incorporate user feedback; document solutions for maintenance.
