Job summary

St. Paul’s Senior Services in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Solutions Engineer to design, develop, and deploy internal apps that leverage LLMs and modern frameworks to streamline workflows and boost efficiency.

You will bridge software development, AI integration, and operations, writing production code, evaluating AI capabilities, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver faster, smarter services across the organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software development, solutions engineering, or related technical role.
• Proficiency in server-side languages (PHP, Python, Node.js) and front-end HTML/CSS/JS.
• Experience integrating and deploying LLM/AI APIs in production applications.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design, SQL databases, and web app architecture.
• Experience with Azure Entra ID (SSO/OAuth/SAML) and Microsoft Graph API.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Design and build full-stack internal web applications using PHP, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Develop and maintain APIs, microservices, and integrations with third-party platforms.
• Ensure code quality via documentation, Git version control, and peer reviews.
• Integrate LLM APIs to enable intelligent automation and AI-assisted workflows.
• Prompt engineering, context management, and output parsing for reliable AI behavior.
• Automate workflows, instrument applications with analytics, and improve operational efficiency.
• Build integrations with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure AD, and other SaaS tools.
• Deploy on IIS/Windows Server and cloud environments; ensure security and uptime.
• Communicate progress and architectural decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
