Job summary

Idaho National Laboratory seeks a Power Platform & Automation Engineer to join HR's Product Experience & Insights team. You will design PowerApps, automate workflows, build Power BI dashboards, and apply AI-driven solutions to streamline HR processes. You will work with HR, IT, and UX to deliver end-to-end solutions, from discovery to support.

Role emphasizes hands-on development, requirements gathering, and collaboration with PEI disciplines to ensure modern, scalable HR tools and insights.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building production solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Foundational Python skills and interest in AI/prompt engineering.
• Ability to gather requirements and translate them into working solutions.

Responsibilities

• Meet with HR teams to understand work processes and needs.
• Design and build PowerApps and SharePoint-enabled apps.
• Develop automated workflows in Power Automate.
• Create Power BI dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
• Apply AI and agentic automation with Python and prompts.
• Collaborate with UX, Data Analytics, and PEI teams throughout delivery.
