Job summary

Tulip Interfaces is seeking a senior software engineer to help design and ship internal tooling for an agentic AI platform used by our engineers. You will work across the stack, from API design to frontend experiences, and collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable, scalable tools for developers.

You'll apply your 5+ years of software engineering experience, strong TypeScript skills, and hands-on AI/LLM knowledge to empower engineers, improve productivity, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally focused on developer tooling or internal platforms.
• Hands-on experience building with AI/LLMs and shipping agentic solutions.
• Proven ability to build internal tools for engineers and balance build vs buy decisions.
• Collaborator who earns trust with engineers and ships adoptable tools.
• Strong full-stack proficiency, TypeScript, API design and integration.
• Deep hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, agent frameworks, RAG.
• Production experience with AWS, CI/CD, and AI safety in code execution.
• Interest in developer experience fundamentals and tooling as a product.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering teams to identify high-leverage AI opportunities in the workflow.
• Build and maintain the internal agentic AI platform: skills, plugins, MCP servers, integrations.
• Own architecture and standards for evaluating and deploying agents and model releases.
• Improve onboarding, docs, and discovery to help engineers find AI tools.
• Stay updated on agentic AI trends to shape internal standards and roadmap.
• Contribute to AI enablement programs, office hours, and change management.
• Measure adoption and impact of internal AI tooling and prioritize next features.
