Job summary

Tatari is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead internal tooling and automation, focusing on developer experience and AI tooling across the engineering org. You will own the strategy for improving CI/CD pipelines, build and test infrastructure, and developer environments, working closely with SRE and analytics teams.

You will design and deploy AI-powered agents and tooling, measure impact with DORA-style metrics, and drive adoption across multiple product engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud-based infrastructure, platform, or developer tooling roles (AWS preferred)
• Hands-on use of AI coding assistants and agentic development tools
• Experience owning or improving CI/CD systems, build/test infrastructure, or developer environments
• Strong Python and shell scripting skills
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform preferred)
• Empathy for engineering toil and desire to improve developer experience

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for developer experience and AI tooling across Tatari engineering
• Evaluate, deploy, and drive adoption of AI coding assistants and agentic development tools
• Design and build internal AI-powered agents and automations for engineering workflows
• Identify and eliminate friction in the development inner loop (CI/CD, build/test infra, local dev environments)
• Design episodic developer environments across microservices (per‑PR deploys, sandboxed environments)
• Define productivity metrics and use them to prioritize impact
• Partner with application engineers, data scientists, and analytics teams to drive improvements
• Participate in technical architecture discussions
