Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a software-focused writing role, strong writing skills, and the ability to communicate across product, engineering, and support teams. A 4-year degree or equivalent experience is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a software technical writer or in a related role.
• A 4-year degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to create clear, user-centered content for customers and admins.
• Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, UX, and Support teams.

Responsibilities

• Create and publish clear, high-quality product content (user guides, release notes, knowledge articles, troubleshooting guidance).
• Build deep product expertise and serve as a trusted SME for Sugar products.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, UX, and Support to identify gaps and improve the customer experience.
• Turn complex technical concepts into simple, useful content and improve SugarAI’s knowledge base.
• Develop templates, reusable skills, and automated workflows to improve content quality and team efficiency.
