Job summary

Amazon Advertising is building a team to diversify demand and transform how vertical advertisers grow on Amazon through AI-driven experiences. You will work with Principal Engineers and Scientists to translate ambiguous problems into scalable architectures and build end-to-end services at internet scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design/architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling).
• 1+ years of software development experience.
• 1+ years designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered or distributed software applications.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, launch, and maintain AI-powered advertising solutions that simplify the advertiser experience across strategic verticals.
• Design and build end-to-end services and platforms from the ground up, contributing to foundational technical decisions.
• Partner with Principal Engineers and Scientists to translate ambiguous business problems into scalable system architectures.
• Collaborate cross-functionally across engineering, science, and product teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies — including agentic AI models — to accelerate product development.
• Mentor peers, contribute to engineering best practices, and raise the technical bar as the team scales.
• Deliver iterative, high-impact results in a fast-paced startup environment.
