Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced software/ML engineer in Seattle, WA to design and deploy production-grade AI/ML systems at scale. You will own end-to-end pipelines, mentor engineers, and drive architectural decisions within a fast-moving ads technology environment.

Collaborating with product managers and scientists, you will push innovative solutions, apply ML best practices, and contribute to a high-ownership culture aligned with Amazon Leadership Principles.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning and LLM fundamentals, including transformer architecture, training/inference lifecycles, and optimization techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy production-grade engineering and machine learning systems that deliver measurable customer impact at scale. Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable systems. Build multi agent applications using Agentcore and Strands framework. Own end-to-end AI/ML pipelines including data processing, model training, optimization, and inference infrastructure. Lead technical design discussions, mentor engineers, and drive architectural decisions for AI/ML solutions. Continuously learn new AI/ML technologies and engineering best practices while demonstrating Amazon's Leadership Principles, particularly Ownership and Deliver Results, in daily work.
