Job summary

Amazon's Demand Tech Experience team is seeking a Software Development Engineer to build AI-powered advertiser workflows for Amazon Ads. You will own design and delivery of scalable systems used by advertisers, agencies, and sellers across Desktop, Mobile, Kindle, Video and Retail.

Our stack spans React/TypeScript frontends to Java backend services with agentic AI orchestration. You will contribute across the full stack and help define the technical vision for the next phase of scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

Responsibilities

• You'll own features end-to-end — working directly with customers to scope requirements, design solutions, implement, test, and launch.
• You'll design and develop agentic AI workflows — you'll work with LLMs to build intelligent campaign creation and management experiences.
• You'll help define the technical vision for our next phase of scale and complexity, partnering across teams to deliver unified advertiser experiences.
• You'll raise the engineering bar — through code reviews, design discussions, and mentoring — while improving performance, reliability, and developer experience.
